vbox usb 3560 vista Business

Hi,

I have been using the vbox usb 3560 tuner for 2 years using sagetv and it has perfomed flawlessly. I recently decided to build a new server using Vista Business and the tuner has stopped working in sage. When I try to scan for channels or add a channel manually I get a "no signal" message. The tuner does work using the arcsoft recording app that I received with my hd pvr.
This seems to be a problem that is specific to sagetv.

I have sent in a bug report to support already. While I am waiting for thier response I would appreciate any help solving this issue from anyone who might have already solved it. The WAF factor is an issue.

The new server is configured with 4gb gskill 800 ram, a gigabyte 780g motherboard, a 4850e dual core cpu, an ati 3470 video card and two samsung sata drives . The catalyst version is 8.6, and the vbox drivers are the 6.0 version.

I have spent hours working on this. I have discovered that my Vbox tuner works fine in Vista using Sagetv 6.3.10 and earlier.

I have a HD -PVR that I had to RMA so when I get that back I will have a dilemma.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Working with the support staff from Sagetv and upgrading to 6.4.5 corrected the issue that I was having.

Sagetv has to be the best HTPC platform in the universe!

Try getting support like this from microsoft.
