Playback Error (-4.0x0)
The LATEST SageTV problem I am encountering: "There was a Playback Error in playback. Details: sage.PlaybackException: ERROR (-4.0x0): There was a problem rendering the video portion of the content for playback."

This was the final segment of the Discovery show on NASA. The file appears to be there, it just will not play. Other recordings play back just fine.
What is the problem?
How do I fix it?
Will this recording ever play, or is it no good ?

Can you play the .mpg file in another application?

If the file has bit errors you may have to use another program, like Video-redo, to correct the issue.

Windows Media Player would not play it. There must have been a problem with the recording. Other recorded shows played fine.

I had the same problem, and switching back and forth between VMR9 and Overlay resolved the problem.
