HD-PVR setup problems... no component option
I have finally gotten around to re-installing my OS on my HTPC, and as a result also started setting up my HD-PVR. I originally tried the latest production Sage release, but didn't see component video as an option on the HD-PVR, so I looked saw that I needed the 6.4.4 beta version for HD-PVR support. So I just finished installing that, but I still do not have a component input option on the HD-PVR.
I installed the 1.0 drivers from Hauppauge for the HD-PVR. Am I missing something? My 500MCE is working fine in SageTV (I just tested them to be positive). I have been going over the other threads about HD-PVR setup, but no one seems to have had this as a problem (that I have read).

I didn't run into that issue, but my two suggestions are:
1. Make sure you are setting it up using the default STV. I tried initially using SageMCE as my stv and ran into issues. 2. I do have another hauppauge card in my system, but not the 500. I followed the simple directions from this post to get mine working http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...0&postcount=30 The latest HD-PVR beta drivers mentioned in that thread are located here: ftp://ftp.shspvr.com/download/wintv-hdpvr/

I had the problem too. I was really confused for a while. I can't tell you exactly what I did but it may have been a reboot. All of a sudden I had the component option. Sorry if that doesn't really help but at least you know someone else had the problem and it went away pretty easily.

Ok, well, I uninstalled SageTV and re-installed it again. This time component and component+SPDIF was available. I don't know what happened. But in anycase it is there. I am able to get video, but I have not gotten audio yet, however, I havn't gotten audio to work from my other capture card, but the HD-PVR audio works.
That said, I seem to be dropping lots of framerates with the HD-PVR, but it doesn't do this when I use the Arcsoft software. I also can't use my USB-UIRT to change the channels (like I had been using in the past to control the same set top box). When I try to select USB-UIRT in Sage for that video source, it states that it can not find a USB-UIRT installed.
