I have encountered 2 Serious problems with client

I am trying to use the client software for sageTV and have encountered 2 serious problems that prevent me from using it.

1. It has a very bad studder related problem. This appears to be caused by a lack of a large enough buffer on the client side or the server is not feeding the data fast enough. I have plenty of bandwidth and CPU usage on both the client and server. Does anyone know of any property or system values or that I can change to correct this problem? I can view the program just fine using the shared video file with WinTv2000. Switching the rendering filter from Overlay to default seemed to improve it but it is still unacceptable.

2. The second problem is when a program gets to the end, it sometimes completely locks up my client. I have to reboot the client to regain control. Any ideas about this?

Does anyone know what the "mmc/pentium_4_fix" in the property file is about?

I am running Windows XP sp1 Home OS on Both systems
I am using the most recent released Hauppauge drivers on both systems
My server is a P4 2.40 GHz (533FSB) with 2 250 cards
My client is a P4 2.60c GHZ (800 Mhz bus) with 1 350 card
The computers are connected directly with a crossover cable for the network. When recording the network usage is a steady 7%, when playing the network usage is very erratic 1 - 7%. When I transfer files I see about 77% usage.

I would really like to use the SageTV Client software but with these problems I just do not see how I can. This is the released software, not the beta. I would really like to see some responses from the people that keep saying this product is as solid as a rock.

I had a slight stutter on the client and setting both NICs to 100/full instead of auto helped my issue.

The pentium 4 fix is just for users of the Provideo card I believe.

I just set both the server and client to 100Mbps/Full Duplex. Studder still there sound seems more out of sync than normal but not sure about that. When I play the same program on server sound is in sync. Any other ideas?

I think I may have found the cause of studder. I had the audio Playback Delay set to -2000, changed it to 0 and studder is gone so far.
