Is this a tuner issue?
I am still in my trial period.. so far I like it but I really need to get the HD extender and the full license to try it on my TV.
Anyway. inn the below screen shot I noticed the very top has an issue witht he picture, this is on almost all channels.. any Idea on how to fix it? the tuner is a hauppauge PVR-150 ( I actually have 2 installed in my PC). The PC playing it back only has a 64M video card too.. http://vettextc.jiminees.com/jeff/misc/screen.JPG |

If you are referring to what appears to be the white dashes acress the top of the screen, it is probably program data (such as show name) included with the show. You should be able to go into the Aspect Ratio Settings and adjust them by 1 or 2%, so it is not visible.

Okay I think I got it adjusted.. I am not too concerned wit it on my PC screen, I am more concerned when I get the HD Extender and I am viewing stuff on my Plasma I would assume the aspect ratio settign are separate for the HD Extender right? this machine I have set as the server also int he only machine I can view stuff on.
watching that same feed on my TV directly I don't get the top line of stuff. that is why I asked if it was the tuner Hardware.. |

I have not noticed them on my HD extender. You can adjust the aspect ratios on the extender but it done in a different manner. The HD extender allow you to define your own custom aspect ratios. There is a FAQ about creating them here http://forums.sage.tv/forums/showthr...712#post252712.
It is not a tuner issue, but it is not intended for the user to see thoses lines.
