setting a specific tuner as the default
I have 2 tuners and I get cable (channels 2-77) and satellite (everything above). My problem is when i want to record a program, my satellite tuner always records the program. For other reasons, I want my cable tuner to default to record any channel from 2-77 and satellite to channels above 77.
I found an earlier post that explained this but now I can not find it. Also, I looked in the Sagetv manuel but can not find it. Can anyone point me to an earlier post or a manuel page that would help me change to whatever tuner I want to set as the default. Thanks.

You can set tuner priority via the mmc/encoders/<some number>/encoder_merit proeprties; the higer value has higher priority, if all othe considerations are equal.
