Bug found with multiple DVB-S tuners DiSeqC support

I had a problem with 2 x dvb-s cards (pci hauppauge nova-s plus) installed in a system I was building.

The symptoms were:- after reboot, pc coming out of standby or restarting sage and recordings were scheduled. The recordings would not record, mpg would stay at 0kb and could not be watched - screen would stay black. If then deleted / cancel those recordings and watched the show before pressing record then it would work until the pc was rebooted, came out of standby or the sagetv service restarted. This bug was not unique to 6.4.3 it happened in 6.4.2 and 6.3.10.

Submitted a bug report and Qian confirmed there was a bug with multiple DVB-S tuners DiSeqC support and sent me a replacement DShowCapture.dll.
Will be sending him the logs to confirm all is working.

Thankyou Qian.

Hope this helps others with multiple dvb-s. This file needs to be unzipped into the SageTV directory - remember to backup you original first.

Sounds very much like the problem I have with my DVB-C tuners. After sage start or restart (resume I don't know) the first recording/watch always fails with 0 kb and black screen/"no signal". From then on everyting is fine until next sage restart.

Did the fix help? I have just applied this fix on my own sage server which has one dvb-s and 1 dual dvb-t tuner (dvb-t was newly installed yesterday). It had similar issues which have now gone away.

No, unfortunately I still have the problem after trying this update.

For some reason Sage is very sensitive on this first tune, because after that everything works fine. I've seen others in this forum with the same problem but not everyone apparently.

Thanks for your interest!

Rasmus
