Hd extender vnc client

Ok, I just got my media extender, and love it. Now I am wondering if there is a way to connect back to the server computer and control it from the extender. Much like a vnc solution. Just wondering

Nope, and I kind of doubt it's in the plans. They've been against adding keyboard support, so I'd guess RDP is right out.

My hd homerun needs to be configured every reboot. I takes a little while to boot up. So It would be nice to access it from anywhere in the house. I plan on putting server in a closet downstairs.

Oh well. Ill think of something.

I don't understand. Why does it need to be reconfigured every time you reboot?

I have it directly connected to the pc. When I reboot, the config utility initializes, but usually the hdhomerun isn't ready yet. So I have to manually click the button about 30 secs after the computer is done booting. I tried connecting to my router, but I was getting choppy video.
