Why are my recordings showing up under videos?

I installed the latest beta and now all of my recording are showing up under the video area. All 188 of them. How can I get this to stop?

Did the update get installed to a different location, instead of on top of the previous version?

Maybe wiz.bin got corrupted somewhere along the way. If you don't have a backup copy to try using, then there should be a wiz.bin.<previous version> backup that SageTV automatically creates when a new version starts.

I would make a backup of it first, even if you do think it got corrupted.

But, yes, you can make sure SageTV isn't running (service stopped, if using the service), then copy the old wiz.bin over the new one & restart SageTV.
