TitanTV and tvpi file format.

When I click TitanTV record option it tries to give me a file with the extension tvpi.

I tried associating it with the sagetv.exe but that didn't work.

Any ideas? Can the TitanTV record function be used with WinTV-HVR-1800 and Sage Software?

BTW this is what is in the tvpi file:

<tv-program-info version="1.0">
<program>
<station>WKRN</station>
<tv-mode>digital_cable</tv-mode>
<program-title>Jimmy Kimmel Live</program-title>
<program-description>Scheduled: actor David Spade; from "Samantha Who?," actress Jean Smart; musician Ashlee Simpson.</program-description>
<start-date>20080514</start-date>
<start-time>04:36</start-time>
<end-date>20080514</end-date>
<end-time>05:35</end-time>
<duration>00:59</duration>
<rf-channel>2</rf-channel>
</program>
</tv-program-info>

As far as I know Sage TV does not have support for the .tvpi extension. You may want to try some XMLTV importer.

AFAIK, Sage's native guide data covers everywhere TitanTV does.

Yes, but not nearly as nicely. And having options tends to be a good thing. Even after I change the program guide to show more content it still is not as good as the Titan page.

And why did they stop at just the program guide in being able to show more columns and rows? Did someone think that we wouldn't want more rows and columns for the other tables in Sage? Like we might get eye strain and hurt ourselves?

I like Sage, it works, but hey, a little more CE please, thank you. (thats customer experience)
