Issues with playing recordings

Hi everyone,

love the forum. I have been using Sage TV for quite sometime and am running server and client setup. My issue is this:

When viewing recorded shows, every 3-4 minutes, Sage will go back to the main menu? This used to happen every twenty minutes or so, which was a slight issue but not too annoying. Hitting the left arrow on my remote would get me back to viewing the show quickly. I tried searching the forum but could not find anything. A few weeks ago, it started doing this every couple of minutes.

I thought maybe it had to do with re-scanning for media, so I disabled that.
I updated to the latest windows xp and java.
I am not running any scripts or jobs on the client.

My setup is:

I am running MacMini Client w/ 2 gig of ram with Windows XP
using gigabit lan through the house
My server is a dual core w/ 2 gig of ram
My SageTV version is 6.3.5.159
I have comskip running every 20 minutes on the Server

Has anyone run into this issue? any help would be greatly appreciated.

I see you also posted in another topic where it was suggested to try removing the wireless keyboard -- try taht & see what happens.

No luck, I removed my wireless keyboard and the same thing is happening. Sometimes its happens in about 3-5 minutes but sometimes in about 30 seconds.

This happens to all media files including DVDs as well. I had Task Manager running and didn't see anything pop up at all from cpu usage. Sagtvclient stays between 7-11%. When it goes back to the main menu Sagetvclient goes to 0% until I restart the playing. I am running gigabit lan in the house and the network stays around 6% utilization.
