missing dta-150 tuner
I have 4 tuners I use in Sage and they have all worked great with XP. Today I installed Vista Ultimate and just installed Sage. Everything seems to work, but I can not see one tuner, my dtc-150. I can see it in device manager, but not sure why sage does not see it. Any ideas? Chad

Check the mmc/ignore_encoders property in Sage.porperties. If it is listed there, then close SageTV completely, remove that line from the properties file, then restart SageTV.

Check this FAQ regarding where to find the properties files in Vista & make sure you checked the correct file.
No other media app, including Windows, is using the tuner, right? You could check with support -- maybe there is a difference regarding its support in XP vs. Vista. - Andy

I have UAC disabled so I should just edit the properties files like I did with XP. I do see the ignore line, but just dont see the card listed. This is strange because my other 3 cards all work fine and this is a fresh install of Vista. I tried to remove and reinstall sage, but still do not see it. Chad

The problem ended up being a conflict with this card and my ATI HD Wonder. Must be a Vista thing because I have put XP on this a few times and never once had this issue. I was able to remove my other 3 cards and I could then see this card. I added the other cards back one at a time and it works great. Chad
