Newbie Question: Tuner Card needed for TV Listings?
Hello!
I know my question sounds brain-dead for sure...I've downloaded several pvr software products to evaluate the interfaces, options, etc. I do not have a tv tuner card in my system. I'll purchase one when I've chosen the pvr software. So, there's no Program Guide/TV Listing. Is this because I have no tv tuner card? Thanks!

Short answer: yes. You must configure a video source and channel lineup in order to get program listings.
