Converting from windows?
Anyone posted guide to convert from a windows installation? Mostly just concerned with the wiz.bin file, can I just copy it over and have it work?

I don't know enough about Linux to give too many details, but you can use your existing wiz.bin, since that's what I did when I started using my Linux test system some time ago. The only issue I remember with wiz.bin was that it had links to Windows file paths that it couldn't see -- since it couldn't see the paths, it couldn't verify that the files weren't there & I had to just use the delete command to remove the phantom recordings. Now, though, you should be able to use the advanced_video_file_recovery property from this FAQ to have it recognize recordings in their new location(s) or remove missing recording entries.
All the Favorites, viewing history, & so on moved over just fine because SageTV uses the same database. - Andy
