SageTV acting strangely, can't wipe it from system...

So I was cleaning up my drives sunday and figured I'd clean up any junk on my SageTV recording drive "well, whats all these small size files, I'll just nuke anything < 1MB"... Don't ever do that. So LiveTV no longer worked and all my series recording information was gone. Oh well, so I try to set it up again and SageTV will no longer connect to my HDHomeRun, wtf, VLC can play streams from it just fine so its something with SageTV.

Fine, screw it I'll nuke and start over. I uninstall SageTV and install the latest 6.3 but for some reason it still had my HDHomeRun as a recording device and when I tried to re-set it up it would fail again. No amount of uninstalling SageTV and the HDHomeRun software would fully remove their connection to one another and I would always get an error when trying to set them up (sometimes -4,0x0, sometimes no error just fail).

How do I totally nuke/remove SageTV from my system?

Sam

When you uninstall SaegTV, unless you manually remove its directory, not all files get removed. Check out this FAQ: My SageTV installation isn't working correctly and it has been suggested that I reinstall SageTV. How can I reset SageTV's configuration settings without losing my recordings, favorites, etc.?

Also be aware that if you are using Vista, the config files can end up somewhere else; FAQ: Where to find Sage properties files in Vista.
