Red face Maybe I missed it

I see peeps buying 2 and 3 of these units.

Have it been confirmed that you can run more then one HD PVR together in the same PC and will Sage support this?

thanks

FWIW

I downloaded the Arcsoft Total Media trial version and installed it on my client machine. It played the video flawlessly but with no audio. I exited Arcsoft and fired up my Sage client and it played the video perfectly as well but still with no audio.

Order # 33756 at 1:10pm Eastern.

Does anyone know how these things will handle any VBI stuff? By that I mean closed captions or teletext.

Want to see the board on this thing? See photos of it in action (albeit naked without the case on?) The snapstream blog has the scoop - check it out here

Gee, so many questions on does it do this or does it do that... guys, it's not out yet and there have been no reviews yet. Read the Hauppauge spec page... that's all that's known at this point.

No, the point is pepole at sage must have the unit for testing just as pepole at beyond do. So the real question is how much they can tell us, and when the NDA lifts.

maybe the 2-port. all depends on the bandwidth requirements and such. novel idea for (only ) $120. makes one think of what they could be used for though.

Ziova cs615 plays sample file OK

by the way, there are lots of reports of media extenders and pc's that have problems playing back the sample file.

i'm beta testing the new Ziova CS615 network media player and it streams and plays the file with no problem

This is what firmware updates are for. I would imagine the SageTV guys have plans for a firmware release to go with support for the device.

What I was going to try with one of these USB over ethernet devices when I get the Hauppauge card was move my physical Sage server to a Virtual machine. One less physical box burning $$$$

It says the 2 port can sustain 12-15 Mb/sec....

This would be an interesting solution for me, as right now my HDTV and HD STB is not near my Sage Server....
