UI Reverts to Default STV when I enter Detailed Setup
Great layout, but I'm having a problem. When I clicked on detailed setup, it reverted back to the old SageTV layout, I had to reapply the 16x9 import....happened to me 3 times....I'm going to reboot and hope it don't happen again, but is anyone else experiencing this?

In my case, it was not returning to SageMc.

I thought by design it uses a moded version of the default STV? I for one see quite a difference in the detailed setup used in SageMC and the one in the default STV.

Each release of SageMC updates the "modded" version of the default STV that is included with SageMC in order to pull in the changes.
So detailed setup in the real default STV will be 1 step ahead of the SageMC default STV. If that makes sense. btl.

Yes, indeed it does. I just wanted to make sure there is no confusion. SageMC uses a moded version of the default STV, not the acutal STV (as it used to do in the past).

Any reason why I should not be able to leave the Detailed Setup screen? I try to exit via Back to SageMC but all it does is run the HDD and then it just stops. To get back to SageMC I have to exit the program ultimately.

SageGK...are you trying to import the 16x9 STV instead of changing the STV to the 16x9. SageMC is not an import.

I installed the application packaged from the detailed setup menu. I think maybe I just needed a reboot. I'll see what happens tonight when I get home and play around with it.

Just making sure because the import STV option is directly below the select STV option in the detailed setup.
You had mentioned in your original post "I had to reapply the 16x9 import" which made me think that perhaps you were trying to do an import. BTW I have no idea what kind of strangeness would happen if it were imported into the default STV instead of selected as the STV. |

Use the "back" button on your remote while in the detailed setup screen. It will always return you to SageMC.

As I recall, there is also an extra button on the left in the Detailed Setup menu called "Return to SageMC" or some such. I also experienced this same problem in an earlier install, when I would press and hold the "enter" button on my remote and would end up on the SageTV main menu, rather than the SageMC main menu. Since I have been playing around with various themes and the dynamic menus, this issue has evaporated.
