Video Tools: Problems encoding HDTV w/UNC paths
I ran into a problem over the weekend where mkvmerge, the tool I use to put mencoder encoded videos into an mkv container, wouldn't write to UNC paths and this was causing the Auto Encode profile to fail for HDTV.
Fortunately, the author of mkvmerge was very responsive and cranked out a quick fix which can be downloaded here. So if you have your Sage Recordings directories set up as UNC paths and are encoding HDTV, I highly recommend you download this and copy executables/dll's into your '...\SageTV\SageTV\perl2dvd\' directory. Also, please only download it if you *need it*.
