Playlists in SageMC 6.3.7

I've been trying to get a handle on the SageMC playlist feature...just wondering if I'm missing something.

All I'd like to do is:

a) Create a temporary playlist of 2 recorded TV shows quickly and easily, a playlist that I have no desire to save or use again (I just want these 2 TV shows to play one after another w/o user/children intervention)

b) While in Folder/File mode, create a temporary playlist of all songs in the current directory quickly and easily, a playlist that I have no desire to save or use again (I just want these songs to play one after another w/o user/children intervention)

So far, I haven't been able to figure out how to do this.

So my Q is whether its even currently possible. Should I stop wasting time on this?
