No more than 4x smooth FF with HD extender

I remapped the smooth FF and REW buttons on the HD extender but I can only get it to smooth FF at 4x. Repeated button presses do nothing. It will only FF at 4x instead of going to 16x, then 32x, etc. like the SD extender would.
I am using the latest release of Sage for Windows and updated the HD extender firmware.
Anyone know how to restore the faster speeds?

The Smooth FF and Smooth REW is a MVP only feature. And if it is being transcoded to the MVP those will be disabled.

Smooth FF & REW are not MVP-only, or else those buttons wouldn't be on the HD100's remote.

Maybe the additional speeds on the HD100 depend on the video format. What format are you playing? I had no problem reaching 256x speed on an MPEG2 file.

Send a note to SageTV to ask if the possible playback rates vary by video format.
