please help
I am try to build a windows home server sagetv system. I have directtv with 2 satellite ins. I was looking into a SageTV Dual-Tuner Bundle & Remote Hauppauge PVR-500 card.
1.if i am reading things right this is one pci slot card that handles both satellite in cables? 2.after this i need to purchase the sagetv media extender in order to view this on the tv? Thanks for help! sorry if this was answered I looked around but am a little confused on how this card works or if it is even the right card.

The PVR 500 can take 2 inputs from your Directv recievers. The best way to connect them is with Svideo cables and stereo audio cables.You will need the expansion bracket for the PVR 500 to connect both recievers. You will also need to control both Directv boxes with either serial control or USB UIRT.
You can connect to your tv directly from your computer if you have a compatible video output from your video card or with an extender via ethernet.
