Ok. I'll do that. Thank you for all the ideas. This is a great forum. I'm just unlucky right now. I'll post what I find out, in case it can help someone else.

Solution was to change the format of the music files. I was using WMA lossless, but that isn't supported on the HD100. Changing to flac format fixed the problem.
