Makes a ticking sound in win media player but sounds great in Recorder

I downloaded the Sage Recorder and it works awesome. the only downside is that when I run the clips using Wimdows Media Player or any other player other than Sage I get this ticking sound. Has anybody had the same problem? I dont get the ticking sound when I run the clip in SAge Recorder.
