Can't mark DVDs as Watched

I don't understand why it doesn't work. I look at the options for a ripped DVD (VOB files in a VIDEO_TS folder) and I can't set the Watched flag. I can't do it with a mouse click nor with a button assigned to the Watch action. It works for avi files but not VOB files. Is this because they are multiple files?

DVDs cannot be marked as watched; SageTV only remembers where you left off on the DVD. The latest beta has changed the Watched command to only clear any last-watched info for DVDs.

Thanks. On an unrelated note, do you have any idea why when I'm playing a list of songs some songs will start but you can't hear them? I start an album, it plays the 1st song, it goes to the next song but you can't hear anything. If I hit Rew or Fwd it will play but I have to do that on most songs. Is it something I have to change in the audio section? I tried switching the audio renderer & the audio decoder but neither has any effect. It does this whether I use the ATI sound or Soundmax or Default.

I don't know about that -- if no one else has an idea, then contact support. Maybe there is something about the file format that SageTV has a problem with.

Been a problem for a while that a few have struggled with (myself included). There's a couple threads on it out there.

It wasn't a problem with other players so I opened a ticket a while back with Sage. They didn't come up with a solution for me after sending them sample MP3's, however, I don't seem to have as much an issue as I used to...so I assumed they might have fixed something.

It's apparently a problem with how the files were ripped...

Either way, I'd send them a support request and get them a sample file.
