Very confused with Directv, s-video, and dual tuner setup.

After almost giving up trying to get this usb-uirt to change the channel on the directv box I finally figured it out. So, I left my computer to record my upcoming shows, which two of them were at the same time at 9:00 p.m. and it only recorded one of them. I guess, well I am almost positive, it is because of the fact that the directv that I have can only send out information for one show at a time. Or sage is only recording the channel that it tuned directv to.

The directv box is hooked up through s-video on my Happauge mce 500. Also, I do not have a dvr box which is probably a big factor here.

Is there anything I can do to record two shows at once?

Buy another Direct TV box. You have a dual tuner PVR. That menas you also have dual inputs. (s-video) Think of your DirectV box as a single tuner. You need another one.
