If I recall, when I placed the order the shipping option didn't explicitly state USPS, but something more generic. I think it was something like 'Canada Parcel.' It turned out to be USPS, and I'm actually quite happy thats the case. I'll gladly wait the extra few days for USPS rather than pay the exorbitant "brokerage" fees that UPS and their ilk tack on to cross-border shipments.

I assume you guys will post when you receive it. I will.

BTW, USPS is a good option for shipping to canada. It is the least likely option to provide you with a second present (a bill for the brokers getting the thing across the board - which could be another $50). I remember reading other threads where canadians were asking Sage to ensure they used USPS because of this reason.

I'll post when I receive it. The status is still the same, so I guess the rumors about USPS being lousy to update status is true. That, or maybe my flight missed Europe and took a roundtrip and will drop it on next pass

Seems as though mine is on the way. Does anyone know who delivers for USPS in Canada. Is it Canada Post? Hopefully it comes today. Will give me something to play with while we get hit with another 25cm of snow.

I agree that USPS is bad at updating, but you have to figure that it is going to take 3 - 4 days on a truck getting from LA to border. I wouldn't expect any update until it hits the border.

Whenever I have had anything shipped via USPS to Canada it has been delivered to me by Canada Post.
And I'm with you, it would be great to have this to play with while we're being buried (yet again!) tomorrow. But, like yours, my tracking info hasn't changed since the package apparently left the US around 5am, March 4, so I'm not holding out too much hope of having it tonight. We'll see!

According to the just updated USPS site, mine arrived in the country as of 9:58am this morning! Now if only I knew how it was due to be delivered here...

you might want to try stickign the tracking number into your local postal system tracking page.

I got something from the US recently and it seemed to get stuckat the airport. Seems like they only track their side of the delivery. Sticking the same code into the Royal Mail's system showed me that it was sitting in the post office 50 yards away!

You're absolutely right! Tried it and it's showing up that it's sitting in a mail centre about 60 miles from where I'm sitting. I'm astounded that there would even be that much compatibility between postal services!

Mine says,

"Your item arrived in GREAT BRITAIN at 11:30 PM on March 7, 2008. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later."

Royal Mail say,

"Sorry the reference number has not been recognised. Please check that you've entered it correctly."

Ordered mine on the 28th. Not even sure it will work with my TV. I don’t have HD and not even sure it will sync to NSTC video. Just took advantage of the Dollar being $2 to the £

Dean.
