HD100 outside of US?

Just wondering if anyone outside of the US has received an HD100 shipped from Sage or even a tracking number yet?

Ordered mine early last week and still no sign of a tracking number. Starting to get paranoid at this stage that they're not shipping outside of the US...

I think they'll deliver. I sent an e-mail this weekend and got a reply that they will send it this week. After that I got an USPS tracking number e-mail. But it only indicates that USPS has been notified of an shipping, and not received actual package. Probably SageTV did this to 'calm' me down My wild guess is that this is the first time they are shipping to all these strange countries, and are working out procedures and so on. Might be as simple as putting the correct power plug adapter in the box.

With the demand of the STX-100 being as high s it is, and the additional hoops to send these abroad, I wouldn't be surprised if the international orders take a little longer to be sent out than the North American ones (not saying that is right or wrong).

Thanks voidpt. I really hope that's a typo in your post and that it's UPS and not USPS. I paid over $60 for UPS shipping! Anyone else got an encouraging story?

Apart from the whole HD extender thing, my last hardware purchase from Sage (back in 2006) left me unimpressed. Didn't ship until 15 days after I ordered it and even then that only after I had to chase it up with them. Their excuse that time was that there was a 'mix up'. I hope things have improved, I want my HD100 now!!

I also got a USPS tracking number, but it has not been sent yet.
Hopefully there will be a PAL update soon too.

@mickm

Sorry. No typo. The tracking URL i got ended up at usps.com. And yes, I do think that for the $60 shipping price it should be by air courier. I'm just sitting it out a few days, and waiting for something to happen. But getting the HD Extender at all is an improvement

Just had a look at my order email and it does indeed state 'Parcel Post'. I missed out that they only use UPS within the US. Man, for $62 I could have sent it to someone I know in the US and got them to FedEx it to me overnight!

PeterC or voidpt, any chance you could post (or PM) your order number? I've been waiting so long at this stage that I'm paranoid as well as very impatient!!

Thanks,
Mick

My order number is just below #28150. From what I remember. Don't have the order where I am now.

I also got my USPS tracking number...
From experience with shipping things via USPS EMS in the past, it takes 2-3 days max with home delivery.

I hope than by Friday morning latest I will have mine.

I don't think it should be any different in other parts of the world...

Thanks Lucas, the sooner the better but as long as it arrives in one piece I'd be a happy camper.

To all of you 'outside US' who have received tracking number e-mail. Do any of you have actual tracking activity ? Meaning that USPS has received a package from SageTV ?

I'm still waiting for activity on my tracking number.

USPS tends not to do a great job of keeping up the activity for their packages unlike Fedex or UPS which gives you constant feedback of where things are. There is also a details button on the tracking page that may give you more information as to where your package is.

Looks like I've finally caught up with the rest of you guys! Credit card has been charged and I've received my USPS tracking number.

@voidpt
No activity reported on the tracking number. The status is 'Electronic Shipping Info Received', meaning that USPS have only received notification to expect the package for mailing...

Thx for the info, still looking for first dude 'outside US' to actually get an entry that indicates the package is on the move. Come on, don't be shy But charging of the credit cards is a good sign, ... or bad, if nothing ships

I just checked this morning and my shipping status is still showing, 'Electronic Shipping Info Received'.
The money has been withdrawn from the bank account, so all up, the HD100 has cost, $287.87 including shipping and the banks Foreign currency conversion fees, (gotta love Australian banks with all their fees) still it's not a bad deal for the HD100, when you consider other electronic equipment.

Can you confirm if it was USPS shipping option you selected to Canada?

Cheers!
