hd media extender + linux license combo?
i notice that sagetv is selling the hd100 bundled with media center for windows for $249...does anyone know if they are willing to swap the windows license for a linux one?
i already have a media center license for windows but have been wanting to move it over to my linux server...i figure this bundle will be a cheaper way to make the transition.

Licenses are not usually swapped from one platform to another. But, you should contact SageTV with any licensing questions.

i guess i mis-worded my question (i know they won't swap the windows license for a linux one). what i wanted to know was if anyone had bought an "hd extender + media center for linux" combo for the same $249 price--i can't think of any reason why they wouldn't offer that as well.
i suppose i'll have to contact sales for a special request.
