Sage install changing directshow merit breaking my video!

When sage installs, it changes the direct show merit of some of my video and audio filters. I'm getting really tired of having to go in and change them so that my system still works. Sage's choices are wrong and break not only sage, but all of my other video apps. This is really rude -- akin to the old programs that used to go in and steal all of the icon associations. The install needs a way to keep it from doing this -- or to make it easily reversible.

This was fixed prior to the latest beta. What version are you installing?

Do the later betas undo the mistake the other one caused?

To the OP, you may have to unregister that sage codec.

You can do that by opening a command line and typing this in:

regsvr32 /u "C:\Program Files\SageTV\Common\stvm2vd.ax"

All versions are changing my settings on ac3 and the sage filters.
I do see that sage is not setting itself as the top any more (ac3 still is), but I also don't want the sage filters down as far as they're now set which means that I need to go in and adjust...
