Req: Automatic backup copies of Sage.properties file?

Would it be possible in future versions to have SageTV keep back-up copies of the Properties file? It would be nice to go back a day and restore a previous Properties file after making changes (if they don't work).

Maybe if it made a backup copy each day it ran for a week or so?

Thanks,
Lauren

I thought about doing this for when people upgrade so its easy to rollback to a previous version. I'll bump it up on the list.

Yeah it would be nice if there was a way to maintain all the important stuff (recording history for example) so that I could reinstall the OS on my PC and not lose all the knowledge about my recording habits that Sage had built up.

freat,

All you need to do to preserve that is to backup your Sage.properties and Wiz.bin files. Just reinstall SageTV to the same path, and put those 2 files back and it'll be back to its old state. It's that easy.
