Stuck - unable to view pictures in SageTV media center

Hello,

Been using Sage for ages. I have not had many bugs but a recent one is driving me nuts.

When I goto the picture viewing area nothing is displayed. I've ran the thumbnails generation and it scans them all, but nothing appears.

I can do the sideshow, the screen saver all shows the pictures I just can't see them manually in the screen.

Any ideas?

Are you using the default STV or are you using SageMC 16x9 STV? I'm guessing the latter.

Are the pictures on the same machine or are they accessed via a mapped network drive?
I had the same problem and it had to do with the permissions under which SageTV is running and not having permissions to access the network drive. But, darn, I can't remember exactly what I did to fix it.

I have Sage setup to login as login under the proper username/password

I don't use SageMC, so this may not have anything to do with it... but is the issue just for thumbnails or for viewing the images?

If it is for thumbnail generation, try the v6.3.9 beta because there is a fix for something that could affect thumbnail creation. If you see all the thumbnails, then this isn't it.

I'm at work I wish I could post a screenshot.

But the same issue happens in the default skin.

There's no thumbnails at all, but like I said if you do the slideshow or use pictures for the screen-saver it works.

Might need to try the beta tonight

yeah if you have done any imports at all, then replacing the jars probably wont help, but even 1 import can mess it up
