USB-UIRT repeating digits being sent Directv D12-100
I am having a heck of a time. I just recently changed from TWC to Directv and part of that changeover has been to get my 34 button Hauppauge remote to control the the new Directv box: D12-100 via the USB-UIRT. I programmed the USB-UIRT to control the D12-100. It sends the right channel, if I press "3", "3" is received by the Directv box, but it doesn't stop there, the problem is the box receives "333". And that is consistent for any number. If I press "4" the box receives "444". There is a similar thread regarding this idea, but it's not specific to the D12 and I have followed it... I have tried adjusting the Delay Between Codes, Delay Between Channel Changes. I have also seen the thread with the recommendation to change infrared_receive_repeat_delay & repeat_periods. Regardless of changing any of these numbers nothing seems to behave differently. I have attached the .ir codes (as a .txt file), maybe there is a clue there. Always appreciative of the communities assistance.

in that file you posted. try removing " RepeatCount 10"
and open sage.properties Code:
usb_irtune_repeat_factor=4

Moto.... U Da MAN. I did exactly as instructed. I removed completely the line "Repeat Count 10" from the ir file and then in the sage.properties file I changed what had been usb_irtune_repeat_factor=2 to what you posted ...factor=4 and now when I press "2" only one "2" is sent to the Directv D120-100 box and the channel is correctly changed. Much thanks. I will continue to check other things I may have missed but all the numbers seem to be working. Thanks a billion. Back to Sage goodness now. Can you explain what happened? (If you have the time).

RepeatCount 10 was the issues. it would send the command 10 times, and I found when controlling my STBs the sweet spot was around 3-4 atempts to trigger an action. Since I have my usbirt far from the my stbs, I have the count higher at 4 to make sure the stb changes channels all the time.

Intersting. Mine is no more than 6 inches away (USB-UIRT > STB) and although what info you gave me is really, really great - during fine tuning last night I found a couple of number 7, 9 & 0 would sometimes still repeat. An then at that point it was rare and inconsistent - that said it would never repeat more than twice. Thanks again Moto.
