SageTVService takes 100% CPU

Hi,

I have the strange problem, that the SageTVService takes (nearly) 100% of my CPU power. This happens directly after startup and lasts forever (as far as I can see ...). This makes SageTV (I use it on a MediaMVP) unusable.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Eyk

Need hardware encoder

Mine did that until I put a card with a hardware encoder on it. I bought a Hauppauge HRV-1600 and a PVR-500 (type A card) and they it was fine.

My first troubleshooting step would be to enable debug logging and see what it thinks it's doing will all those cycles.

just to give a feedback...

due to a harddisk crash I had the chance to do a total reinstallation. I don't use DVB epg data anymore. I have XMLTV sources set up for my tuner cards and haven't had any of those effects again.
