No plans to support keyboard on HD100

Just received an e-mail from Sage stating that they have no plans on supporting a keyboard with the HD100.

This is very disappointing. Trying to type in letters with a remote really sucks. I hope they rethink this. Maybe someone will come up with a hack to enable keyboard support.

I don't need a mouse just a keyboard.

I think the majority of buyers of the HD extender do not want a keyboard, so it makes sense not to support one. It's not like a keyboard isn't possible - you just have to have a pc client.

I would have to disagree. I beleive many people would like the ability to have a keyboard in order to make searching easier. Having the ability to search for series to record or search online content (YouTube) with the use of a wireless keyboard would be great!

I use the one touch searching that comes in the Hidden Extras of the default STV - not sure if that works with YouTube 'cause I don't use it much and haven't for months now. However I wouldn't object if a keyboard was made available.
