SageTV and Playlists

I have manually made play lists the way I want them. The problem is anytime someone plays any album without creating a playlist. Sage still creates a playlist and keeps it. Is it possible to have Sage clear an album playlist after the album stops playing?

If nobody is playing music in Sage and I go into it the only playlist I want to see are the ones that were created manually.

The only automatically created playlist is the "Now Playing" playlist, which is used any time music selections are played outside another playlist. That one is shown even when empty, so no there is no way to get rid of it. Above that entry are "Add New Playlist" and "Play All Songs" -- none of those 3 can be removed w/o using Studio to customize your STV.

Here is a picture of My current SageTV Playlist... As you can see every album I play gets added.
I did not add any of these playlists. It gets added when I select an album to play. I am using Nielms Dynamic Menus I am not sure if this has anything to do with it.

That's strange... it shouldn't be doing that.

Perhaps -- try it w/o any customizations & see what happens. (Any time something unexpected happens, try it w/o any customizations, including disabling the hidden extras.)

I deleted the play lists and now its working as advertised. Maybe that was just remnants from prior releases. Sorry to take up your time.


Ahhh spoke to soon The lists came back when I backed out. I guess I have to check my other client and delete them

Do you have playlists on the hard drive that are getting imported?

I feel so stupid. There were playlists on the ones that kept re-appearing.

Thank You they were re-importing everytime I deleted them.
