Conflicts?

Ok, so I've figured out how to click on the exclamation icon in the upper right to show me the list of conflicts. Now how do I resolve that? Once I get the list it seems all I can do is exit the list.

It should show a list of possible solutions, you should be able to select one. Are you able to scroll up and down the list? Are you using a keyboard or the remote?

Oh yes, I can scroll up and down just fine. But it doesn't seem like any button works to select anything.

Have you tried the enter? If so does it appear to be looping, redisplaying the same conflicts or just doing nothing at all?

I'm having the same problem. I'm pretty sure it's a bug.

I am not sure its a bug. It may be how tgey intended it. You should have the option to do manual conflict resoloution but sage is doing it automatically basedon te position of the show on the favorites list. The higher up show wins,

Yeah I discovered that favorites thing last night. That Helped, but it would be nice to know what show is being recorded in place of the ones on the list.

I do like the look and feel of the new way of showing resolutions. However, I also feel that there should be a way of resolving things from that same menu. Perhaps a pop-up like in ver. 1.4, or a new screen with details on the recording, and resolution options.

Now, does anyone else get MULTIPLE settings for each show? I have about 2 of almost each show, some say first run, some say rerun, etc...
I'm concerned that this may further confuse things(as well as the user)

mixxmaster, its really great that hey did tha. The new way, you can schdule your reruns lower then all other first runs. That way a rerun will not trump a new show. Of course thiis also gives you custom options for every show! I love it.

If you edit the recording, you can change it from First Run to First/Rerun. Then you'll really have a duplicate. At that point, just delete the one you don't want, and you'll end up with only one listing that handles both. Personally though, I'd rather have seperate control over each - the same way they were imported from the previous version.

trump one off

Ok... I get it... the higher in the list - the trumpier the show becomes. But what if tonight, and only tonight, I want to trump a lower show over a higher show. Does this mean I have to mess with favorites before the program and then put it back afterwards?

I would think that you would just do a manual recording of the show you definitely wanted recorded on that one particular night.
