Extender shuts off when live tv show ends, and no sound on music?

Just updated hd extender firmware, sagetv 6.3.7, and sagemc 6.3.6b. The extender completely shuts off at the end of a show. It is only happening on the hour, not the half hour.

Also, my music files appear to play on the hd extenders, but there is no sound. On the sd extender, they skip to the end of the file. The music is on another pc.

DOwngrading to an older sage version eliminates these both, but reintroduces random live tv freezes requiring restarts of the service, which were why i updated in the first place.

I've no problems with either music playing or with videos stopping with the new 6.3.7. I've tried with the HD-100 using the new firmware, the PlaceShifter client, and with a MediaMVP. All look good. I'm not using SageMC, though. Could that make a difference?

If anything, the video playback is much smoother with the new revs.

edit: I just re-read the question. I didn't do my tests with Live TV. I almost don't remember what this is anymore. 99% of what I watch is either pre-recorded TV or streamed podcasts.

I had the HD100 power itself off after I started to play a recording today (that's with todays firmware and 6.3.7RC)

just switched back to the default stv, same issues.

I upgraded to the latest firmware and also 6.3.7 SageTV. I also have had two "lock-ups" on the HD extender where it became unresponsive and I had to cycle the power to get it to restart. It didn't occur enough for me to determine when it occurs. But the two times were in a single day. I hope this does not continue at this rate.
