New 20080125 firmware and wmv files (no video), using v6.3.7 RC

			Hi,

With Sagetv 6.3.7-RC and the latest firmware for the HD-100, I get no video output when playing wmv files downloaded from: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...tshowcase.aspx With the previous firmware I was able to get video without audio, now I just get a blank screen The progress bar runs but no video / audio. It happens with 1080p "step into liquid" and 720p "super speedway". The files display correctly on the SageTV 6.3.7-Rc server, just not on the HD-100. Anyone else seeing this ? Basser |

Well, I get playback exceptions when I try to play mpeg4/divx/xvid files on the extender with both 6.3.5 and 6.3.7. It started happening with the new firmware, so I think there are some issues with it. Based on the release notes they made a lot of changes to try to make more files play back. I think their workarounds caused some other bugs to crop up.

Can you play back other imported videos? I seem to be able to do mpeg2/dvds and H.264 files in mp4 containers. Everything else I have (mostly mpeg4 in avi containers) doesn't work. |

The other files (mpeg2 etc) seem to play fine.

I think I posted this in the wrong place, should be in the SageTV Extender thread, but I see there is already a similar thread
