Scientific Atlantic Explorer 4240HDC and HVR1600 IR Not Working
I just moved and my cable company provided a Scientific Atlantic Explorer 4240HDC receiver. Unfortunately, I cant get the Hauppauge HVR1600 IR config utility to control the box as the closest listed setting is an Explorer 4000 or Explorer 3000HDC, neither of which work. What other options do I have.. do I need to wait for Hauppauge to update their drivers for this to work? I did try all the other settings including satelite, as well as verified the SA remote and HVR blaster functions.

In case anyone else has this issue, it seems that the remote might be high frequency IR. The Hauppauge ir blaster does not support capturing or emitting this range. USBUIRT has a 56k one which might handle it, I'll post back once its tested.
