1600 w/MCE remote -remote supported?

I know Hauppauge sells two versions of the 1600 with remote. One the 'regular' and one with an MCE remote. Does Sage support the MCE remote version?

I don't no why.. but I've killed 2 of the ir plugs (both snapped) on the regular Hauppauge remotes in the last year. Looking to try something different.

i'm using a wmc remote and it works just fine. it's natively supported now.

The MCE remote's IR receiver is supported in Sage. The IR blaster portion is not natively supported. YOu have to do third party tweaks to get the blsting to work in Sage.

If you still have your Hauppauge remote, maybe look into getting a USB-UIRT. You could use your existing remote, and its IR receiving and blasting is natively supported in Sage.

the mce remote is VERY easily supported now through 3rd party software now. The developer and I have worked on a version that works on Vista 32 and 64 bit even.
