Sage freezes HD extender with spdif connection
Last night I connected spdif to my speakers which support digital output. While watching american idol it froze up threw times. I had to power cycle the system each time to get it going again. I did not have this issue when my sound went through the HDMI cable. I also found that I could not control the volume level through sage once I made the digital ausio connection. Anyone else run into these issues? Also does anyone have any possible solutions?

Initially with earlier firmware. Make sure you went through setup and everything was saved. Also I would power off the HD from the back and go through a full boot. Prior to booting up I would try deleting the .properties file for it in the clients folder and let it rebuild itself new. I do adjust the volume from the receiver but I also have adjustment within Sage I believe. I'll check again.
