Works like a champ.
This is awsome. Thanks so much for doing the difficult part glbrown. I do agree with justme. There seems to be alot of "noise" in the beta forum. It makes me wonder how much is really sage 2.0 problems vs how much is people trying to get there own setup working using a beta product. It must sometimes make it hard for Jeff and Dan to tell what is a true bug. Anyway, 2.0 seems to be stabalizing and I am hopefule that .13 will be the one for me. I'm also hopeful it will be released in the next day or so. Rob |

I think we are lucky that the noise level is so low. Sometimes I think this project is more complicated than a big accounting implementation. So much of it is subjective and quite time consuming. The underlying data is so huge and the low level device interaction is so high. The successful result of all this has to be controlled with 30 buttons on a remote while laying on the couch drinking beer. There is no balance sheet to tell if it is right. Few people have the time or are willing to put in the effort required to fully test something this complex. It's easier to whine. I spent so much time with multi-tuner and remote issues. But the result has been awesome. Sage is already easier to run than any video setup I have ever used. I have been on .11 for 25 days and feel incredibly comfortable. I am ready and chomping at the bit for .13 |
