Prorgramming Remote Issues - irremote.ini
It would appear I have no "irremote.ini" file. i have done a search for it and cannot find it. I have a Hauppage PVR 350 and a silver remote on a windows2000 platform.
Basic Sage functions on my remote work fine, but I am not able to program new remote commands in detailed setup. What should I do?

The irremote.ini file should be in the C:\windows directory. If does not exist is it possible it got deleted after you started the remote software? I doubt if you will make any progress with the remote if this file really does not exist on your system.
Are you trying the "Link Remote Control Button to Sage Command" or the "Link Keystroke to Sage Command". The Hauppauge remote is just simulating keystrokes, so you should bu using the "Link Keystroke to Sage Command".

If you really have no irremote file you can try the "repair" used in the Issues with the Hauppauge remote after a driver update thread. Be sure to run the "Restart IR" program after making any changes to the file.
