Connect to a website via Sage

I'm not a programmer, but need some help. Is there an easy way to add a plug-in to Sage that connects to a website. I always like to check Woot.com, but sometimes I don't have my computer on (always have server on, but not easy to access for surfing the web). I would like to add this plug-in into the online area, but that really doesn't matter to me. Is there already another plug-in out there that does something similar and maybe I could just update that plug-in to do what I want?

Any help would be great.

Thanks.

Maybe use neilm's RSS Newsfeed reader plugin. That may give you access to the infor you're checking. Other than that I don't think there is a plugin that calls upo your browser. There's an external application plugin that could do that. But if you're using a remote you have no control of the browser.
