MVP Skips Forward During Playback

I have just changed my setup from 'computer next to tv' to 'computer in basement, MVP next to tv'

The problem I'm having is that when playing a recorded shows over the MVP it will jump forward a few seconds during normal playback. I will do this up to a dozen times in a 30 minute show.

I've also seen that when I'm FFing, the time line progress bar will jump around as if it has no idea how long the show is, or were in the time line it is currently playing from. I don't have com skip installed yet so I'm just FFing though the commercials when I've seen this. I does seam to FF ok regardless.

I've done what I can to set my linksys network to 100/full but there are not allot of settings available.
