When watching the video choose your "Options" button on your remote or do a ctrl-O and make your choices from there.

Put a formal request in to Sage. This should be able to be done. There is no reason to go back to AVI, and MP4 doesn't officially (if at all) support AC3. MKV is the way to go!

Off topic (sorta)... Anybody know a good TS or M2TS muxer? M2TS supports VC1, H.264 and MPEG-2 video with AC3/DTS/DD+/etc.

I put a request in for audio language support for AVI format and that was implemented, so definitely submit a bug request. It helps to send them a small mkv sample file via rapidshare.com or other file hosting services.

I'm guessing latest Sony Vegas Pro, but you're probably looking for a free alternative.

I had to make a small test AVI file with two audio channels to send to SageTV. I'm sure you made that MKV copy of Resident Evil 3 from a Blu-Ray disk that you own and not downloading it illegally right?

sure, i made a backup copy.

legality is different in different jurisdictions, when you in one jurisdiction you do not care about legality of other jurisdiction, in case you do not plan to cross the border.

Hope that gets implemented soon.. That would be handy for me too..
For audio tracks, and being able to render the subtitle tracks too, that would be really nice for mkv files support!

Did anything ever come of this? I've got an mkv file that's defaulting to the wrong audio track and I'd really like to be able to change it.
