Audio Issues with DVR-250 :confused:
I'm having an odd problem. I installed a new PVR250 tonight and all software with updates from Hauppauge's website. Picture quality is great but I do not get any audio with WinTV2000. I have tried each of the audio-in configuration options in WinTV2000. I've uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled all software and drivers. Still no go.
I installed SageTV .. besides being very impressed with their interface and direct support for hardwire connected STB, the audio works! But, the audio only works after I change the channel once. The first time I fire up Sage for the session, there is no audio. As long as I change the channel once, all audio thereafter is fine. Any ideas? Thanks, David

This issue has since been solved. I installed a spare Sound Blaster 16 bit card and disabled the onboard audio card that is part of my Asus P4C800-E system board. Once I did this, all audio issues were resolved 100%.
