Any other mce to sage users out there?

Once I heard of the hd extender sage was offering I had decided to give it a shot. I just got it setup and currently have mixed feelings about the product. Granted I have only truly used it for about an hour. Once I get more time to spend with the product I am sure I will find the user interface more intuitive.

Right now I am seeing terms such as Sage STV packages and stvi's imports. These term meant nothing to me but now I realize these have to do with Plugins and Themes, I think. It would be nice to use Industry Standard terms, this would help in making the product more intuitive.

Also, I think sage should provide complete support for the usb-uirt device. Meaning, provide the necessary emitters, documentation and gui to support multiple -zones. The average user will have a hell of a time setting this unit up if they have three stb's. Realistically the device should have 3 jacks out the back and one receiver in the front.

These are just my opinions at this time.

I used MCE for about 2 years and jumped to Sage and have not looked back.

My main reason for switching was I have multiple video sources, Cox Cable, and Dish Network.....it is a pain to get MCE to handle different sources....Sage did it "out of the box" so I switched.

There are some things that MCE did well but over all I think that Sage is much beter.

I am running Sage with Windows Home Server and an HD Extender and a standard client on a PC and it is just about everything I could ask for......(I'd love to see integration with Sirius Sat Hardware)
