Which HDMI graphic card??
I am planning on upgrading my onboard graphic card that I currently using dvi to hdmi cable and would like to use a just an hdmi cable and stream video and audio through it. What graphic card with an HDMI output would you recommend with good picture quality and quiet? Or should I wait longer until they come out with different ones?
Edit: I don't plan on doing much gaming on the client but I would like it to handle HD playback. I am thinking about getting this card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814127301

That card won't do what you want it to do. To output audio over HDMI from the PC, you need a video card with an integrated audio chipset. You should look at Radeon 2400Pro/2600Pro cards.

From the reviews I've read it uses the SPDIF connection for audio. Do the 2400Pro/2600Pro cards output at 1920 X1080p through HDMI because when I read the specs on one of them on the box that it would only output at 720p through HDMI.
Also if it matters the client is using Vista.

I believe the 720P limitation on the Radeons only applies to the extreme low-end of the product line. The 2400Pro and 2600Pro can definitely handle 1080P.
