Channel lineup question

Howdy

I have a quick question about setting up my lineups... If I have three tuners, two basic cable tuners, and one cable box (s-video in) tuner what should my lineups be (if they mesh).

The lineups are:
Charter Digital Communications (for the cable box) and
Charter Communications (for the standard channels)

Now, the digital has the same channels (and a few more like HBO) as the standard lineup.

Should I use the Digital lineup for all of the devices and just "Disable" the channels in the standard tuners? OR should I use both digital and standard lineups accordingly?

How smart is Sage at knowing that the channels in each of the lineups are the same I guess is the real question...

Thanks!

You need to use 2 lineups. Set up the standard lineup for the standard tuners and enable/disable the channels that those tuners get. Then, set up the digital lineup for the STB'ed tuner and enable/disable the proper channels for it.

If you used one lineup for all tuners, you wouldn't be able to tell the straight tuners that they couldn't record HBO without disabling it for the STB tuner as well.

Sage is smart enough to manage both lineups and keep track of all the channels, assuming that the incoming EPG data is correct. As long as the channel names are teh same between both lineups, it should work just fine.
